Well, the Flat Version of him anyway, and he seems to be having a blast running around Nashville.

The first stop on Flat Papster's Rescue Fundraising tour was none other than the birthplace of 3D Papster in Ashland City, TN, a little town just outside of Nashville. He must have interrupted his Uncle Traveller's supper, see the cottage cheese on Trav's nose? Just like a Bull TerrOr to arrive when food is being served!

He arrived just in time to celebrate St. Paddy's Day with everyone too! He had an All Access pass to the 18th Avenue Pub Crawl on Music Row. Hope he didn't drink too much green beer, cause he's too young to drink!

I'm told he is going to work with his other Mama Vicki, then he will be heading to CT to see what trouble he can get into with Gimli, the stiff necked dwarf and his family.

(Gimli is an example of where the donations go, he is a rescue, the scar on his muzzle is from some jerk who tied his mouth shut to make him quit barking!)

For those reading our blog for the first time, or in case you forgot what this is all about, Flat Papster and his friend Flat BenJammin are traveling the globe raising money for Bull Terrier Rescue. Rescuing and fostering Bull Terriers is very dear to my heart and our rescue is always in need of money to help these poor babies who, out of no fault of their own, have found themselves homeless or abused in someway. My dear friend Paula and I feel it is the responsibility of anyone who spends the money to show this wonderful breed to also give back by helping the rescues who are in need. Here's how it works....

Flat Papster and Flat Benny are in a race to see who can go the most places and who can raise the most money for rescue. The "official" race will end in Oct at Silverwood and our Nationals. Both flat boys will be there to present money to our rescue and with a list of places they have been on this Most Excellent Adventure. (if you click on the link it will take you to our Facebook Fan Page)

If you would like to help we ask that you "buy a ticket" by donating at least $5.00 to our rescue. You can mail a check or use PayPal. Be sure to put the name of the Flat Boy you want to visit in the comment box. (lots of folks are having both flat boys visit!) We will then put your address on the list and have him sent on to you ASAP. We ask that you take pictures of the adventures and email them back to one of us so we can post it on our fan page and also here on the blog.

We have 2 of each Flat Boy, one here in the US and another traveling outside the US. We will try to make sure the Flat Boy of your choosing gets to you as fast as possible. Quite a few tickets have been bought so far and are asking if you have a Flat Boy visiting that you try not to hold on to him for any longer than a week before sending him on to his next destination. Paula and I would be forever grateful to you should you decide to participate in this fun fundraiser, but the Bullies you will be helping will benefit from it the most!

We're Off to See the Wizard!!

Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, they done dropped the green flag!! The race has started!!

Flat Papster is on his way to 3D Papster's birthplace in middle Tennessee! Rumor has it, he is in for an awesome time while he is there! DawgAunt Janice says he might be goin to the Nashville Kennel Club dog show!!

DawgMom took Flat Papster out to the mail dudes on Wed & can you believe that mail dude even let her take pictures? How cool is that? They thought it was such a great idea when she explained what we were doing & asked if she could take pictures he said "Of course" (there's 2 envelopes because one Flat Papster is stayin in the US & one Flat Papster is on his way out of the states)

Flat BenJammin has been havin lamb-u-natin problems, but DawgAunt Paula said he's finally all fixed up & ready to go. So the race is on! I think Ben Jammin is headin to PA first. Both of them are startin the race in their own states, funny, huh?

DawgAunt Sandie buyed tickets AND pass-a-ports to the Land of Oz! Reckon they will get in to see the Wizard while they're there? If they do, they better get pictures to prove it, or no one will ever believe them! And they better watch out for that wicked ol witch, she's got the meanest chip-monkies around! They FLY! I mean, seriously, look how scary they are!!

We're not sure where all Flat Ben Jammin is headin, DawgMom is bein lazy (what's new?) & needs to call DawgAunt Paula to see, but Flat Papster has tickets to TN, PA, CT, IN, CA, Oz & Canada so far!! We're all so jealous!

Here we go! What every-Bullie has been waiting for.........Our Rescue Fundraiser idea!!

First things first, this is not our idea, we actually *borrowed* it from Brutus the Frenchie & his way cool Mama! DawgMom did pee-mail Brutus' Mama & ask her first, if she minded if we used the same idea for Bull Terriers. Brutus' Mama is such a way cool Mama, she said Of course we could! So DawgMom told us that we are doin this with her blessing.

Well, DawgMom talked to DawgAunt Paula cause DawgAunt Paula has lotsa Bullies in rescue too lookin for forever homes. Some of her Bullie babies don't even have foster hoomans yet! We knew that DawgAunt Paula was lookin for ways to raise money too, so they decided to do this thing together. DawgAunt Paula is in Mars, PA. No, not ON Mars, she's IN Mars. Bet Miss Fluffy Tail knows where that is.

Our *twist* on what Brutus & his Mama are doin, we are gonna make ours a race!!! Between a young whippersnapper Bull TerrOr~The Papster & an older, wiser, been around the block Bull TerrOr~BenJammin (*note from DawgMom: his name is Benny or Ben, but Pappy thinks he's a "jammin Bull TerrOr so he calls him BenJammin) It's gonna be a race to see who can go to the most places before we all go to them Silverwoods in PA this October!! How cool is that?? But.............

Yep, there's more! We hope to be able to keep on visitin places all over the world as long as we have tickets to go!! How do we get our tickets you ask?? Well, we ask the peeples & doggies & kitties & hammies that want us to come visit to *buy* us a ticket by donating $5.00 to Bull Terrier Rescue! So how cool is that!?!?! Brutus' Mama sure had a good idea & like I said, she's way cool for lettin us *borrow* it from her. Then DawgMom & DawgAunt Paula comin up with the idea of racin to the most places! I mean cool beans is all I can say (DawgMom kinda gave me the idea cause we live so close to the NASCAR track, but I'm not tellin her I listened) Now, I'm worn out from all the excitement over this & if I'm gonna be racin' I need to rest, so I'm gonna give DawgMom the pooter back so she can tell y'all the pacifics on how to *buy* our tickets & junk.

She claims to have gotten tied up making some glass trophies and time just got away from her, yeah right! Maybe we need to tie a clock or watch to her tail so time won't get away from her!

On a good note though, she did take us on long walkies today since the sun was shining and it was pretty outside for once, so guess we can forgive her.

We're back with something exciting!

Can y'all believe how long it's been since we been able to write in our bloggie??? I promise, if DawgMom didn't feed us such good foodables............well, let's jus say we would have fired her a long, LONG time ago and leave it at that!

Any old who, we're here now!! YIPPEE-EYE-KYE-AY.....wait, that's cowboy talk, guess I should say YEEE-HAAWW!

So, what's us TN Bull TerrOrs been up to? Well for starters, a lot of snow, yucky old snow! All the other Bullie kids love that white stuff, but I, Miss Feather Louise DON'T!

K, what else?? Oh, we got a new foster dude in our house for now. He's like a step-bullie or something. DawgMom says he's a temporary Bullie kid, just until he can find his own awesome peoples. His name is Skippy and when DawgMom brought him home from that jail place that day, he only weighed 28 pounds! 28 POUNDS! He was all skin and bones and looked so very sad! (note from DawgMom~to put that in perspective, Feather and LizzaBelle are 58-60 pounds, The Papster is 65 and Darla Jean, the little girl of the bunch is 48 pounds! Skippy is a full grown MALE Bullie!) Well, he's not that little anymore! He's been with us a little over a month and DawgMom and DawgDaddy have got him lookin good. He's still not at his perfect weight, but you can't see his bones anymore. He's about 35-38 pounds now. He grins and just did his first hucklebutt a couple of weeks ago! DawgMom sings "Skippadeedooda, Skippadeeaaa, my oh my what a wonderful day" to him and he goes crazy. DawgMom thinks it cute, but I think it's her singin that does it (don't tell her I said that) BOL!

Next thing is, we got a haint in our house!!!! Y'all know what a Haint is?? Well it's like a boogeyman, 'cept he don't hurt us. DawgMom says "haint" is a southern way of saying "ghost" and since we are TENNESSEE bullies, that makes us southern. Seriously, we do have one. DawgMom even got it on video throwin a crate across the kitchen!! He don't bother us tho, we bark at him and he goes away. He bugs DawgMom cause he's always movin her stuff and unpluggin things and yakkin at night keepin her awake. (watch the little crate on the left side)

Now for the exciting stuff I was tellin you about. Us TN Bull TerrOrs and DawgMom and DawgAunt Paula are workin on a cool way to raise funds for Bull Terrier rescue so dogs like Skippy and Chico and LizzaBelle can still have a chance at finding their own forever home. DawgMom and DawgAunt Paula are gettin everything ready and we'll tell y'all all about it tomorrow! Promise! Until then, I'll spend my time like this.....

Ok, seein as how I'ma 'fficial member of this tribe now I think I shood get ta post more AN' use pretty girlie colors too! Now that the 'nnouncement is outta da way.......

DawgDaddy spent a real long time rakin' leaves, an' burnin' leaves, an' workin real hard on da yard last week all by his-self, so I decided I should help him. DawgMom even got the flashie movie box out so y'all could see what a good job I done.

I mean, they feed me these pawsome foodables, an' make sure I have my medicines ever'day, an' take me on long walkies in da woods an' let me smell all dem cool smells, like deers, an' tree rats, an' rack-a-coons I tink they're called, ya know, them dudes wif da maskes on? Well enny ol ways DawgMom will let me smell an' smell an' smell. Ya know, dem woodsie critters leave more pee-mail than Chief, my little Chinese Crested brudder does an' HE leaves like a whole GALLON of pee-mail ever'time he goes outside!!! I was walkin' today an' I smelled some pee-mail from a new dude in da neighborhood. I telled DawgMom to look on dem ADT movie boxes an' see if she could see who da new dude was what left dat new pee-mail. Well, she looked an' she just telled me da new dude was Mr. Postum. Well I don't know 'bout all that now, I don't even know what a Mr. Postum looks like, but I don't think DawgMom would lie to me so.....

Anyways, the whole point of all dat was since they are so good to me, I thought I'd be good ta dem an' help so before I show you da movie jus' let me say it was funnerer than chasin' tree rats to help DawgDaddy wif dem leafs.

Where to begin, where to begin??
First of all, we have missed everyone! REAL bad! And we are sorry if we worried anybody, it really wasn't our fault, it's DawgMom's! And we just want to know one thing? How come our peeples can put us on ground-ashuns but we can't put them on ground-ashuns? THAT is just not fair! But to be fair to DawgMom, we have been really busy & crazy here lately.

We have so much to catch up on....

First, we got this cool "Paw it Forward" package from Checkers the Peek-a-Poo right after DawgMom stopped letting us play on our bloggie! She did at least let us send him an email & say thank you, but we didn't get to post about it. We got lots of cool pressies in there, treats, bisquits, toys, man does Checkers know how to pick good pressies!! Now we want to "Paw it Forward" too, so to be fair, instead of the first 3 to comment since some of our bloggie friends might be in bed when this posts or sumpthin, we'll pick from the comments with the comment picker thingie (around here that would be Peggy Sue the Poodle) we'll put all the names in a bowl & let her pick 3 of them. We hope that is ok with everyone, but it just don't seem fair to say the first 3 when we have bloggie friends from everywhere & some of them are not on the same time as we are. Next, DawgMom has been working on a new website for DawgDaddy's work. They have an auto repair shop and have been needin a website for a long time so she decided to make one for him. ya'll will have to check it out, she said to tell you she's still workin on it so there is still alot to do.

Let's see? What else? Oh yeah, DawgMom had a family rebellion too while we were AWOL. She got to visit with alot of her kinfolk, some that she hasn't seen in alot of years and boy did she like that. Course we didn't get to go, we never do. Sheesh!

Last week the brats in this neighborhood were teasin our little brothers and sisters threatenin to hit them with sticks!! Yep, we are still in this dumb ol neighborhood and still not in our house in the woods!! Just about all our stuff is moved there now, but DawgMom said we still need kitchen cabinets to be put up, then we can go. Well SHE needs cabinets, WE don't so why can't we just get the heck out of dodge for cryin out loud?? Anyways, DawgMom wouldn't let us out when those kids were outside cause she didn't want us to put a big hole in the fence that they would have to fix, but those brats were tryin to HIT our brothers and sisters!! I mean really, what are we supposed to do, sit back and do nothin??? DawgMom said she handled it, but we sure would have liked to help! DawgMom was so mad she started shakin when she heard that one brat say "Let me hit them with a stick and see what they do" Can you believe that?? Now we know alot of ya'll have kids of your very own, but we don't and the only ones we know are mean to us, so will you please tell us how we are supposed to like them when they try to hit us with sticks and things? Seriously, we really want to like them, but just don't know how.

Can you believe DawgMom is already sayin get off the 'puter it's time for us all to go out potty since we had supper?? We PROMISE we will make her let us come back here and try not to let it go so long next time. Since she is retirin real soon & we will be in our new house within a couple of weeks, she will have more time to let us. After we potty, we'll try to start catchin up on bloggies.

Finally before I go, LizzaBella is doin so much better! Look how happy she is now, you can see it on her face! She has learned to dig in the yard, look how dirty she is! DawgMom doesn't even get upset about havin to fill in holes, she's just so glad that LizzaBella is finally learnin how to be a Bull Terror. Look how much weight she has put on too!

We might be AWOL

DawgMom says we have to write & let every-bully know we might be AWOL for a week or 2. Apparently, that GKKC dog show she's been talkin about, ya'll know, the one she's Parking Chairman for & the same one she's been makin them glass lamps for, is right around the corner. She says she has alot of work to do before it gets here & she won't have time to let us on the 'pooter alot. Well, to us, that's just her lame way of sayin her stuff is more important than ours! That picture is what one of her tables in her room looks like right now.

We do have to say, at least even when she gets busy, she still feeds us really yummy stuff, so she does have some of her priorities straight anyway.

Last night we had chicken quarters with some cottage cheese on top, for brekkie today we had turkey legs & for supper tonight we get that yummy taco meat. (No we did not decide to do away with our sister Cissy, at least not yet. Taco meat is a ground up combo of beef, beef hearts & chicken gizzards)

We also wanted to update you a little on LizzaBella & show you some of the latest pictures of her. Look how good she looks now, compared to when we first picked her up! (the top picture was taken 10 days after we got her from that nasty ol' shelter) She is still tryin to get up the nerve to write her own post, she's a little nervous so we aren't pushin her. Maybe after them dumb lamps are done & that dog show is over. Look at the difference! She's put on weight & DawgMom says she can even see a difference in her eyes, she looks happy most of the time instead of worried. She loves to lay on the ground with DawgDaddy, but she loves the couch the best, as you can see.

Pappy does get to show in that dog show on Sunday though, so keep yer paws crossed the little brat does well for DawgMom, that would make her happy. He has a post all ready in his mind about some haint he swears is livin in the house with us. We think he's watchin too much Ghost Hunters with DawgMom. Or he's sneakin on the 'pooter at night visitin their website & scarin himself. Either way, me & Darla haven't seen any haints, so who knows!

We do have a tag from Clive we need to do & a couple of awards we want to tell ya'll about, so maybe, just maybe, if we are REAL good, DawgMom will do that tonight after she's finished with that glass grindin machine she's got. Meanwhile, ya'll go visit Clive & his Little Man, you'll love them!

So, we'll do our best to at least get around & read a few bloggies at night & we promise, as soon as this show is over, we'll be back!

We are sooo excited!! We got an email this morning from our Bull Terrier friends Woodrow, Sweetie & MJ tellin' us they started bloggin'!! More of us "Terriers without beards! (not that beards are a bad thing, but imagine a beard on our egg heads. eewww) How cool is that, more Bullies bloggin'! Please go visit them, the NY Bully Brats & show them how cool the bloggin' doggies are. We've been tellin' them how much fun everyone is. Feather has always had a crush on Woodrow & our friend Gimli from our Raw4Bullies list, she just never told Woodrow that. Now the whole world is gonna know. BOL! She's gonna be mad at me too, but so what? She thinks she so special cause she was the first Bullie here. BOL! BOL!

Woodrow's DawgMom, Deb was such a HUGE help to DawgMom when we first brought Lizzy home to foster her. Remember how we told you Lizzy was a spinner? Well Auntie Deb has had experience in dealin' with & livin' with a spinner & she really helped DawgMom learn what to do to help Lizzy. DawgMom said she wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of Auntie Deb, Auntie Lori & Auntie Janice. That leads us to the other part of our exciting news.....

Lizzy, who we now call LizzaBella cause she likes that name better, is officially a TN Bull Terror & officially our sister now instead of a foster dog! DawgMom & Auntie Glenna, who is our Bull Terrier Club of America rescue chair talked about LizzaBella & how she was comin' along & they decided that LizzaBella was not a good candidate for placement. It's hard enough to place a Bull Terrier that doesn't have problems, but placing one with problems like hers is nigh on impossible. It can be done, but chances are very slim. Just not many people want to take on a dog that has to be on medication twice a day & has to have the strict, structured schedule that LizzaBella needs.

She is still on her medicines twice a day & she has gained 5 pounds so she don't look real skinny anymore, she has learned to play, but still is not real good at it, she LOVES the raw diet! But then again, who doesn't??? The bestest news of all, she doesn't have to wear that funny-lookin' Frankie-stein collar anymore!

Her tail doesn't have sores on it anymore, not even any scabbies & the hair is startin' to grow back!! So every-bully decided since she is gettin' along so well here & since she doesn't do so hot in new situations, it would be better for her sake, if she just stayed here with us, so DawgMom & DawgDaddy decided she would just live out her days here in our house & be another TN Bull Terror! So for all of you that wondered if she ever got her forever home, the answer is yes, it's right here with us! So when you see us sign our names on yer comment formies, you'll see LizzaBella on there too. Guess this means we have to share our postin' with her too! That's ok, she's pretty cool & we like her!
